Quick Frame (Photo Borders) Keywords:
Photoshop, frames, borders, trick, tutorial This has to be one of the easiest trick, but I use
on a regular basis. Ever wanted to create a white border around
your photos, but could not get it quite right?
1. Open an image or Flatten an freshly cropped photo.
2.
Hit "D" to make sure you background
color is White (unless you want another color for your border)
3.
Go to >Image>Canvas Size(>Image>Resize>Canvas
Size in PSE) and change the canvas dimensions to add
the border. In this example I've added 0.5 inches to create
a 1/4 border around my photo.
Using
the "Relative" option will make it even easier. The
value entered will be added to the current height or width of
the canvas.
4.
Copy/Paste this image on your layout. Bend it,
add shadows, bevels or anything you like.
