Creating a digital envelope (Basic Concept) Keywords:

This
is a very quick walktrough to create an envelope, you can use
an envelope pattern to create them.
1.
Create a basic shape using the Rounded Rectangle Tool
2. Make a duplicate of the layer
3.
Using the Rectangle Marquee Tool erase
the bottom the shape on the second layer.
4.
Inverse the selection (CTRL+SHIFT+I)
and erase the top of the shape on the first layer.
5.
On a new layer create another shape using the Rounded Rectangle
Tool.
6.
Using the Rectangle Marquee Tool erase everything
but one small area.
7. Duplcate this layer and Rotate it.
8. You also have to rotate Layer 1
You
now have all the shapes for your envelope.
Apply
your textures, Bevels, shadows.
Rearange
the order of the layers and "glue" the pieces together.
Use
the Burn and Dodge Tools to age your envelopes.
erase
the bottom the shape on the second layer.
