Explosion Background (Disney Style)

I'm getting ready to go see Disney on Ice with my Kids, and it inspired me to create this tutorial.

1. Create your background

2. On a new layer , add a right to left (white to transparent) gradient.

3. Apply >Filters>Stylize>Wind several times (Choose "Blast" or "Wind" Method)
