Postcard Collage

1. Open a new document and type
in your text. Make it as bold as possible.

2 . Select the text layer, Invert
the Selection (CTRL+SHIFT+I).

Make this layer invisible.
4.
Create a new Layer
and Fill it with Black.
The
text layers won't be required in the end but will your guide
for the collage.

5 . Create a new layer
for your collage and place it under the reference Layer.
This
way you can arrange your collage to fit inside the words. |

6 . CTRL+Click on the Original text Layer to
make a selection.
7.
Delete the two Text Layers.
|
|
|
8 . With your text selection active, click on the Add
a Layer Mask
button on the Layers Menu.

You'll get something like this: the good news is that you'll
be able to move this around, resize it or even work on your
collage again!

9. Make sure the colors are a bit oversaturated, Add a Border,
Warp
it....
